Resumen

Abstract The content of fresh water on our planet is limited, which can be found distributed mainly in underground and surface deposits, the lowest of which is the surface water so groundwater is the main source for drinking water supply. The Tabalaopa-Aldama aquifer located northwest of the state of Chihuahua, located between the parallels 28°31'59.1 "N and 29°0'9.3" N of north latitude and the meridians 106°11'17.5 "W and 105°52'3.0 "W of east longitude. Placing the infiltration raft within the coordinates 28°40'14.80 "N and 106°0'21.33" being the area of study. Groundwater recharge is estimated using the water-table fluctuation method (WTF), monitoring the static levels of 20 observation wells adjacent to the infiltration raft. Historical precipitation data from the area are analyzed and it is observed if there is a connection between these and the fluctuations of the water table levels of the wells after they began with the recharge of treated water. Different hydrographers are generated from the wells which shows if the well generates some recharge, discharge or if the level remains the same as the previous measurement. A principal component analysis is done with the multivariate statistical tool and analyzed using the MiniTab software, noting that with the data that is currently available are not sufficient for a reliable result with said program. It was observed in the hydrographs that the water precipitated if it has influence in the water recharged in the fluctuation of the phreatic levels and consequently the groundwater recharged in this aquifer.
