Resumen

This research aims to: identify the influence of virtue in enhancing scientific communication. For this, they revealed three integrating elements of virtue: character, will and moral fact, which were used as a basis to determine the areas or aspects that intervene in the university professor in his investigative nature and scientific communication. Starting from the elements of virtue, three latitudes in scientific communication were identified that, if owned by the subject under investigation, would enhance their communication in science, they are: (i) knowledge and reason; (ii) intentionality; and (iii) actions carried out, each with questions specific to the research activity and scientific communication. In the study, a sample of 183 teachers, from two educational entities: the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH) and the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), were questioned about the elements of virtue in their scientific activity, with which identified those participants with the closest approach to the elements of virtue. In the analysis of data with a confidence level of 99%, it was possible to find a high significance of the test statistic, where it is explained that the elements of virtue enhance the communication of science, which led us to point out that the hypothesis raised in the investigation.
