In the state of Chihuahua, in 2013 and 2014, seismic activity occurred, causing concern in the population, because it is an area where not commonly these events occur, so that a mathematical model was proposed for later Analysis. The idea was to find a trend in the data through multidimensional analysis. To do so, the accelerations of the CGIG, HPIG and HSIG stations, located in the cities of Casas Grandes, Parral and Hermosillo, the first two stations are in the state of Chihuahua and the last in Sonora. These data belong to the Servicio Sismológico Nacional. The analysis was conducted by applying the methodologies and business intelligence tools like data warehouse and OLAP cube, on the other hand, pattern recognition algorithms were applied such as Support Vector Machine, Random Forest, Artificial Neural Network, among others where the feature vector was selected by applying the technique of Bag of Words. Through these techniques and the mathematical model were able to check the magnitude of an earthquake in the state of Chihuahua is directly related to the depth of it, regardless of the area in which it ocurrs.
