Resumen

This thesis presents the research related to the conservation of water and the environment through the irrigation of crops, the use of humidity sensors and photovoltaic solar energy. A system was proposed too save water using renewable energy to help the environment, information was collected and analyzed from different studies to design an optimal irrigation system with the help of humidity sensors and interconnection nodes to the network to control and send information. From the above three alternatives where proposed among which, one has: a photovoltaic solar farm for all agricultural electricity consumption in the State, in the second option the analysis was considered by irrigation district and the last one, contemplates the installation of a solar photovoltaic system per service or well. Of the three, the last one is the one that presents the highest cost. The results obtained were positive since for each kilowatt hour used in photovoltaic solar energy and not in the burn of fossil fuels, 715 g of polluting gases are no longer emitted (CO2 carbon dioxide). Therefore, when using the proposed system, 1,717,240.35 tons of polluting gases per year would be eliminated, equivalent to planting 68,689,614 trees. Regarding the saving of water resources, applying the drip irrigation system resulted in 1,113.02 hm3 / year.
