Resumen

In 2016, during summer season at Chihuahua’s city dump, nowadays there is an important environmental and hydrological problem, because leachate are being generated and infiltrated into the subsoil and with the time, it may contaminate Tabalaopa – Aldama Aquifer in the zone of study. In the investigation, there were used two geophysical methods, Wenner and Schlumberger. For identification of subsoil stratum, groundwater level, fractured zones or zones with high infiltration, contaminated already by leachates. We observed location and behavior of leachate in some places in study area. Which is located between explored layers from 0.5 to 2 meters of depth. In VES that are closer to Cell 1 of Chihuahua’s city dump, no necessarily exists a big extension of pollution path, but it still does exist, it can possibly being distributed by underground flow water towards other zones in the future..
