Resumen

The accelerated evolution of industrial systems in the last decades has led to the need to automate processes, as it is not enough and sometimes it is not feasible to use human resources for production. In industrial systems in general and in batch plants in particular, processes for the manufacture of certain products are automated to facilitate the control of the production process. In this thesis project, the development of a computer control system for the launching of orders in a batch production area is presented, adapting the iMRP technique for the modeling of the process and the application of the concept of model-driven operation. The system is based on the ArquiTAM reference architecture to obtain flexibility to adapt to changes in the recipe, processes or production equipment. When controlling the process, it is necessary to model the system, taking into account the products that can be made, the machines that are needed and the operations that are made for its manufacture. Petri, GRAFCET, SFC, PFC, IDEF0, etc. networks for modeling the behavior of production systems. One interesting technique to use for process modeling is identified as iMRP (acronym for modular production resource integrator). In this technique, the products, equipment and operations performed by the production area are abstracted as part of the model to be interpreted for the model-driven operation of the production control system. The document shows the results obtained when implementing the iMRP methodology, based on the ArquiTAM reference levels of a batch process in a real company.
